Tarot Card Readers for Hire in Austin

As a general guide, professional tarot card readers in Austin typically charge $130 to $300 per hour depending on experience, event length, and the number of guests. A two-hour minimum usually works well for parties of up to 15–20 guests. Exact rates are set by each reader.

Individual readings at events run 10 to 15 minutes per guest. This is intentionally shorter than a private session. The format is experiential and conversational rather than exhaustive. For groups of 20 or more, consider booking two readers running simultaneously to keep wait times comfortable.

A skilled event tarot reader typically sees 4 to 6 guests per hour at a party pace. For a three-hour evening event with 30 guests, booking two readers ensures every guest receives a personal reading without a long queue. Reader profiles include a guests-per-hour estimate.

Most readers require a small table (folding or cafe-style), two chairs, and adequate lighting: a candle or warm lamp works beautifully. Some bring their own decor. Setup and breakdown typically add 20–30 minutes each side of the booking. Always confirm specific requirements when you contact the reader.

Four to eight weeks ahead for normal weekends. October dates, December holiday parties and New Year's Eve book out earliest, often two to three months ahead. Short notice in Austin?
