How much does it cost to hire a tarot reader for an event?
Most professional event tarot readers charge $100 to $400 per hour with a two hour minimum. A typical two hour party booking lands between $250 and $700 depending on your city. See our cost statistics page for rates by city.
How do I book a tarot reader on EventTarot?
Pick your city and occasion, compare reader profiles with rates and reviews, then send a booking request from the profile. The reader replies to you directly and you agree the details between you. EventTarot takes no commission.
How many guests can one tarot reader handle?
One reader gives 4 to 6 individual readings per hour at party pace. For 15 guests, two hours with one reader works well. For 40 or more guests, book two readers.
Is event tarot appropriate for guests who are skeptical?
Yes. Event readings are offered as entertainment, kept light and opt-in. Skeptics usually enjoy them as a fun conversation with beautiful cards rather than a prediction.
How far in advance should I book?
Four to eight weeks ahead for normal weekends. October dates, December holiday parties, and New Year's Eve book out earliest, often two to three months ahead.
