Our cost guide puts a typical two-hour party booking at $250 to $700, depending on the city and the reader. Most event readers set a two-hour minimum. A longer booking or a second reader raises the total, so mention your guest count when you enquire.

Four to eight weeks ahead for normal weekends. October dates, December holiday parties and New Year's Eve book out earliest, often two to three months ahead. Short notice? Use the enquiry form on a published profile to ask about your date and guest count.

With short readings of 10 to 15 minutes, one reader sees about 4 to 6 guests an hour, so a two-hour booking covers roughly 8 to 12 guests. For larger parties, book two readers or extend to 3 hours.

Absolutely. Milestone birthdays are a natural fit - readings feel meaningful at life transitions.
